History

History of Beta Eta The Virginia Tech Colony of Alpha Gamma Rho was officially established on February 27, 1973.  The present house was purchased the following spring.  A 40' by 40' addition was completed in March of 1974.  At the time there were thirty one active brothers living in the house.  On May 17, 1975 the colony at Virginia Tech became a National Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho.  At the present time, there are over 550 alumni and an active brotherhood of 30 brothers.
