If you are interested in agriculture, Alpha Gamma Rho is the place for you. We have an active brotherhood of over 35 brothers and over 600 alumni. The Alpha Gamma Rho chapter of Virginia Tech was founded in 1975, and since has seen two generations of agriculturely disciplined men carry the sickle and sheath while in their tenure at Virginia Tech and as alumni. Our brothers are from all over the country and are interested in all types of agriculture; beef, dairy, poultry, equine, crops, horticulture, wood science, forestry, natural resource conservation, environmental science, engineering and building science. We are well represented in many on-campus organizations such as Block and Bridle, Dairy Club, Ag Econ Club, Agronomy Club, Forestry Club, Alpha Zeta, Ducks Unlimited, Young Farmers and many more.
